Welcome to World ! That's right, we're going to be in Hyrule for a little while. I'd like to take now as a cursory reminder that World is next, so if you have a cameo spot in that, GIVE ME YOUR SHIT ASAP. I will be informing everyone when I have finished making comics for World , and there will also be a Time Limit - if I do not have everyone's sprites by October 18th, too bad- I will find someone to replace you or pick one of my own cast members and do it myself. I am not budging on this point - you have certainly had enough damn time since the contest was held to get your shit together, I am not extending deadlines for anyone.
Anyway. Let's talk about this page, shall we?
This introduces a new concept known as inhabiting. It's something I've wanted to bring about and show for a while now, but the timing was never really right and the conditions were never really met. The thing is, while in some worlds (, , and among others), Két would simply drop in as her entire self and perhaps shift form to fit in, and in other worlds (, , and among others), Két would simply become the active instance of the version of her that was there -
Ah, lemme explain that a bit. I think of it like, well, since she's become Link here let's use him as an example, like Link. If Link were to visit places that he doesn't belong, his entire being would have to go there. But if you're just talking about things he's already in, like his own games and stuff, the 'active instance' is what's being focused on - like, if you're playing OoT and Skyward Sword at the same time, when you're playing OoT that's the 'active instance', but when you turn it off to play Skyward Sword the OoT instance doesn't just go comatose - it goes and does shit, then comes back so when you turn on the game it's still there. This is the fundamental basis behind the theory of Két being her other alternates - while the Links are separate VIA time shenanigans and whatnot, Két is not saved by this barrier. If there is a Két, and it is being focused on, Két will become that version of herself, but since there was stuff that happened 'off screen' (the proverbial time the game was off), she has no idea what she's been up to.
-Anyway, when she plopped into a place she already existed, it was just a mental transfer. This is the reason why, when Két was forcibly ejected from World , it was to a place like World - there was no 'body' there, so her 'Original Body' - the one from World [O] - could have a chance to recover peacefully. Of course, this is random chance - she could really go anywhere there isn't a body to recover.
But besides those two things, there is a third one that may come up - inhabiting. This is when Két effectively possesses someone who's there and is not her. There is a major consequence to this, but it hasn't come up yet so we'll talk about it when it does. However, there's also four conditions for Inhabiting to occur.
1. The character must be a player character, as they must be a 'shell' for the audience to project themselves through.
2. The character must be able to be given a name, again as they must be a 'shell' for the audience to project themselves through.
3. They must be a silent protagonist, or at least mostly one (yes/no questions etc), ...again, as they must be a 'shell' for audience projection.
4. They must be clueless about the world around them, or at least have to have things explained constantly, because... well, are you seeing a pattern here?
Basically, the only people Két can really inhabit are characters that are meant to be inhabited by the audience. When this happens, there will usually be some minor physical difference, normally hair, eyes, or both but not limited to that, but not enough differences that people who don't know the character well would easily be able to recognize the change. It's sort of like ghostly possession. Of course, that's a pretty big hint about the downfall of this, but as I said - when it comes, I'll explain it.
...whoo this got long! Sorry about that. If this all went into the comic we'd be here way too long, and besides, this is the first time this has happened to Két so she's still pretty clueless about it.
...Oh, and Silvena has the scarf, that's probably important, I did tell you guys I'd mention when we found it, WHOOPS

@Ultimate the Hedgehog- Indeed.
@witswithme- It is indeed a really sucky development.
@BuddyT- Censoring at its finest.
@The Magnificent Z- We're going to get so lost.
@Azure_Kite- You sure it wasn't Chicken on Survivor?
@ted the saiyanfox- When you say 'millions of miles', do you mean 'when you saw Silvena', or something else?
@ted the saiyanfox- Was the double comment really necessary? Also, the thing wasn't whether the audience knew, it was whether Két knew.
@Snurple-the-Hedgehog- Y'know, I was wondering if anyone would notice that the place in, what, comic 3? was the same one that Damaru was in when he met Silvena, and the same one that Két just landed in.

See Ket. See?
Then again, it's not like she had any real means of getting the scarf anyways. I mean, sure, she could have tried asking, but something tells me Silvana's terms would have been something along the lines of "Only if you let me control your body forever", followed by an "I lied." if she complies. <v<;

@Extremmefan- Ain't I a stinker?
@Kurona- He can make plenty of sounds.
@Miyto- You're right! Ordinarily, that would be the case, and it'd just be a mind shift. However, Két was emergency ejected, so that means her body went with her! But she's possessing Link, so her body isn't there! That in and of itself will be important later, so I suggest keeping it in mind.
@RoninHunt0987- [muffled sounds of hyrule fields music playing in the distance]
@Captain Ghost- Yup, indeed~
@ted the saiyanfox- I more meant in that editing your comments to add stuff is a thing.
@Whip the Rabbit- Yeah, she'll probably have to steal it or something.
