The Problem With Possession

Remember when I mentioned there was a downside to inhabiting? Yup, this is it.

Két's 'aware' powers are mainly reliant upon two things in a comic medium - her sight and her touch. Her sight to see the elements of the fourth wall around her, and her touch to feel and interact with them. However, when she's possessing someone, she only has access to one of those things - namely, her sight. Since she's not in her own body (or a modified version of her own body), the rest of her abilities - the touch half - aren't there. So while Két can see the medium as she usually does, she can't interact with it. (She also doesn't have access to her wind powers like this, but eh.)

There is an up side to this, though - Két may not have the powers that come from her own body, but as it is when her form changes, she has the natural abilities of what she changed into or whose body she's borrowing, or gets any tools that they may have on them. So, if she were to inhabit ... I dunno, Chell? Sure, why not. ... She'd get the portal gun and whatever other equipment Chell has to use as she pleases.

...Granted, the same problem Két has when her body changes also applies here - Két has no idea how to use these new abilities. She usually just makes do using what she's used to from her normal self, but she can't do that while inhabiting someone.

This should be fun.

Makes sense. It's like how a gamer can see text boxes and the HUD but he can't make his character actually touch or interact with them. And like a gamer, she can only use the tools and abilities given to her video game character. It's kinda like Két's playing LoZ first-person style! (Well, except that she could die and stuff.)

Well... I guess at this point as long as she talks with Niv, she is a silent protagonist according to the bystander's perspective.

So what if she inhabited the body of someone blind? Would the 'sight' not work, or is that not literal?

I'm glad Ket isn't annoying about her wall breaking.

You (wouldn't) be surprised at how many people make their characters abuse it.

@MecanicalCH- A VSwhat?
@Ultimate the Hedgehog- She stares INTO YOUR SOUL
@Kurona- I don't want to think about that.
