This is something that's a bit interesting because I did some foreshadowing towards it in the form of punchlines, but never actually fully addressed it as being a thing until now. Here's the deal - Két can see what happens on panel. Anything that is in a panel she can see. She can read backwards to get an idea of what's already happened, look a panel or a few panels ahead to look at the future.
But she can't see what's not in them.
Like the audience, she has to rely on what's shown. She observes what the audience observes. And so what isn't shown, what's off-panel or happens between pages? She has no idea. Két is as clueless as we are as to events that happen between panels, between pages, off panel, and so on. She has to rely on guessing based on a sequence of events, inferring as to what might have happened during a time skip she couldn't see. Usually she's pretty good at this - years of experience have given her a certain degree of genre-savviness, after all - but there's only so much she can guess about. In World , she explicitly stated she was going clothes shopping and then there was a time skip to after she had when she was in new clothing. Easy enough - she spent that time shopping for clothes. She can infer that's what she was doing. World Revisit? When there was a montage time skip? She'd be able to tell you "I helped Tails at the lab, met some guys, and told Knuckles to guard his emerald" - but nothing more. Did someone rob a bank one day? She'd have no idea, even though it would have been on the news all over the place. Did Amy ask her out on a date? Heck if she knows, if she did it wasn't on panel so she has no way of knowing.
Két can't see or know about events that happen off panel unless someone else tells her about them. And that's going to cause problems for her as time goes on.

Huh... that seems a bit weird to me. Like, I get the concept of her not being able to see things that happen off-panel when she's not actually in the page, but here, she's *in* this setting. Shouldn't she have recollection of what's in-between panels if she's still physically there for those events?

@gatemaster- Basically yeah.
@RoninHunt0987- Who says they haven't already?
@Ultimate Yoshi- She is an anthro cat (that is currently a pokemon) and this is the weird part?
@boa 4812- :3c
@Sapar- I think it came it up during the second Q&A special, and again, it was implied, but never outright stated like this.

Before I read your explanation, I thought Ket was simply suggesting this payment in the form of "recap that never actually happened".
Still, it's interesting to see it be confirmed that Ket can't see off-panel stuff happen. THat's...
gotta make life suck for her. Comic!Ket can't... even live her life outside of the comic panels we're shown. D=

My guess is that, in-universe, people can still interact with her, but the best guess they can come up with is that she forgot everything that happened in-between panels. So in-universe, she might just seem forgetful, while only she knows the truth. And us of course.
Is this correct?
